Mankind is on the threshold of the epochal passage from a disaster-based capitalism, a short-sighted economic system dealing with survival, to a limitless, abundant economics of immortality.
I’ve dreamed of a revolution. I’ve dreamed of a School which ‘remembers’ that the ‘dream’ is the most concrete thing that exists. I’ve dreamed of a new generation of leaders, capable of harmonising Ethics and Economics, Action and Contemplation, Financial power and Love. THE LEADERSHIP OF THE FUTURE
For a corporation, as for a country, the decisive difference between winning and losing, between progressing and decaying, between being free and being enslaved, between staying alive and disappearing, is always made by one man with a dream and a sense of greatness - a true Leader.
We talk about happiness and look for it and strive for it throughout our entire life without ever finding it and without even suspecting that there is something that is beyond happiness, something that comes before it. Something more precious and even more rare, an indispensable and essential ingredient, a ‘sine qua non’ conditio to achieve it. But in order to explore what is this ingredient and discover what is preventing a man from being happy, we have to clear the ground from many prejudices, false convictions and second-end ideas about happiness.
An ordinary man only apparently loves himself and wishes himself good health, prosperity and well-being. If he could observe and know his inner self, he would hear within, a constant chant of negative thoughts and worries, the recital of a prayer of misfortune in the expectation of terrible events, however probable or improbable.
The invitation addressed to me from Tempo to dedicate a monthly article to the Turkish readers has been immediately accepted with enthusiasm as an opportunity to express my love for this Country and share some thoughts about how to lead Turkey to a greater and prosperous future. For this purpose I cannot rely upon my background as an economist and a sociologist, that would prove largely insufficient. For such a task I have to fetch from my encounter with the Dreamer, with His ideas and principles, and the unique experience of the years I have been with this extraordinary being.
PINOCCHIO: THE UNIVERSAL PARABLE OF MAN’S DESTINY By Stefano E. D’Anna
Pinocchio is the most widely read book after the Koran and the Bible. The reason is that, hidden under the surface of a nursery story, there lies the biggest and most daring mystical text of all world literature disguised as a fable.
All that you always wanted to know about the others and nobody ever told you. Instructions on how to handle the others, what are they all about and what are they for.
You are the song you sing. Your music shapes your existence and anything you see, touch and feel. There is a human mass that sings a chant of sorrow and projects a world on the edge of a precipice. There are individuals who sing a chant of love and victory. The vastness of their music shapes destinies and societies, and profoundly affects the roots of the human spirit.
The characteristics of the solitary bird are fivefold: First, it flies towards the highest point Second, it does not tolerate companions Third, it aims its beak to the sky Fourth, it has no definite colour Fifth, it sings most sweetly.
SOLITUDE
Close your eyes and feel your presence, enjoy your own company. Search for solitude. This is the way a leader builds his integrity and acquires power.
Humanity is enclosed in a labyrinth, languishing since time immemorial in a prison of repetitiveness without ever finding a solution to its age-old problems. The possible way out comes from the myth of Daedalus which recalls the condition of man imprisoned by his own creation. The solution is the problem seen from the top. The way of Icarus.
Minos closed all the doors to us However, he could not close the sky...
Pinocchio by Enrico Mazzanti (1852-1910) - the first illustrator (1883) of Le avventure di Pinocchio. Storia di un burattino - colored by Daniel DONNA
It is time for the world to reflect on Pinocchio's fable and discover it as the ferociously ironic caricature of an untruthful mankind, tyrannically moved by invisible external strings.
A mystical text disguised as a fable
PINOCCHIO: THE UNIVERSAL PARABLE OF MAN’S DESTINY By Stefano E. D’Anna
Hidden under the surface of this fable, there lies the biggest and boldest mystical text of all world literature: man’s initiatory trip from puppet, prey to its instincts, to a real man endowed with will. As a matter of fact, Pinocchio is the most widely read book after the Bible and the Koran.
The invitation to write on such an interesting theme, so close to our existence and yet so misterious and in many ways still unexplored, has received my immediate assent. In fact it has been for me a precious pretext to compress in the few pages of one article the ideas and the material that since many years I am gathering on this wonder of our life, on this amazing phenomenon.
From the first draft of this article, and procedeeng with the iconographic search and selection of the images that could illustrate my ideas about sleep, I realised the extent of the subject, its multi-faceted nature and complexity. My first choice then has been to limit the investigation to some aspects of sleep as an intimate, individual phenomenon, and to some reflections which cannot commonly be found in the existing literature on this theme.
Keeping in mind the final development of this work, my excursus moves from the apology and praise of sleep - in a vision which considers it a pleasure, a phisiological function and a natural right given for granted - to the exploration of more misterious sides of sleep, depicting it as rather an uneasy, unquiet state, till the consideration of some disturbing aspects of it.
Its aim is to show you the path followed by an ordinary man away from a hypnotic view of the world, from an accusing and plaintive interpretation of existence, to escape the rut of a programmed destiny.
This book would never have come to be, nor could I have written a single line, had I not encountered the Dreamer and His teachings. I owe my infinite gratitude to the Dreamer for having taken me by the hand into the world of the “dream”, into the world of courage and flawlessness, where time and death do not exist and where wealth knows neither “thieves nor decay”.
On this journey back to the Essence, I have had to abandon so much dead weight: mediocre thoughts, negative emotions, second hand beliefs and ideas. I have had to “conquer myself”. I have had to acknowledge and challenge the darkest parts of my being.
All that we see, touch and feel, reality in all its variety, is nothing more than the projection of an invisible universe which exists above our world and which is the true origin of it.
“L’Ecole des Dieux” est un roman sur les idées et la philosophie qui inspire l’Ecole, mais aussi un manifeste qui annonce «la Révolution Individuelle», la naissance de l’homme vertical, les cellules d’une nouvelle humanité guérie de la douleur, de la peur et de la pensée conflictuelle.
